CCAP Microfinance Team Released Research Results on Microfinance at 21st Century Business Herald (Innovation Salon) in Beijing

      On August 26th , as the director of CCAP, Prof. Jikun Huang made a presentation at the 21st century innovation salon sponsored by the 21st Century Business Herald. The speech was centering on CCAP’s study on China Foundation of Poverty Alleviation Microfinance. The study was to evaluate the impacts of the development of China’s largest NGO microfinance. Participants and audience included scholars in rural finance, business, and media.
       The CCAP Microfinance Report consisted of three parts: targeting of microfinance, the role of microfinance in rural financial markets, and the social-economic impacts of microfinance. The research results have high potential value of policy advisory. The CCAP Microfinance team was initiated in 2009. Prof. Jikun Huang and Dr. Xiangping JIA direct project. Principal investigators include Cheng XIANG, Hao LUAN, and Zuowen LI.
