Prof.Jinxia Wang Investigated Rural Water Pollution Issues in the Zhejiang Province
     Together with other project team members, Prof. Jinxia Wang from Center for Chinese Agricultural Policy investigated the Huzhou prefecture, Zhejiang Province in September in 2001. The purpose of their investigation is to promote the research progress of “Management Mechanism and Policy Demonstration Research on Rural Pollution” funded by the National Water Pollution Program. During the investigation, based on one large field survey in 7 provinces in rural China in 2010, Prof.Wang presented their research results on the emission and management of rural solid waste and sewage, and local policy makers from Environmental Pollution Bureaus attended the discussion on the research results. In addition, local policy makers also introduced the status and major challenges on rural environmental protection and management. Through this investigation and communication, the relationship between researchers and policy makers have been further strengthened.
