Together with Dr. Luping Li, Senior Fellow of Center for Chinese Agricultural Policy, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Dr. Rosamond Naylor，William Wrigley Senior Fellow and Director of Center on Food Security and the Environment, Stanford University visited tilapia farmers and managers of some processing companies in Hainan during December1-4, 2011. Hainan is the second largest tilapia producing province in China, where export of tilapia products has grown rapidly since last decade.
