An Ecosystem Services for Poverty Alleviation Programme (ESPA) Project Workshop held in Beijing

The ESPA Project Workshop on “Landscape Diversity and Ecosystem Services in Agricultural Ecosystems : Implications for Sustainable Growth and Rural Poverty in China” was held in the Center for Chinese Agricultural Policy(CCAP), Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS), on July 19, 2012. The Chinese PI, Professor Jikun Huang chaired the workshop. Invited discussants, Prof. Feng Ge, Prof. Mingsheng You, Prof. Qinwen Min and Prof. Bao Xiang, got invited to attend the workshop. Project coordinator, Dr Wei Zhang, from the International Food Policy Research Institute, Prof. Wopke Van Der Werf from Wageningen University, Prof. Kongming Wu, Dr Yanhui Lu and Dr Lefu Ye from the Institute of Plant Protection, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Prof. Jikun Huang, Prof. Xiangzheng Deng, Mr. Ke Zhou from CCAP, CAS, presented their research achievements of the project. Miss Su Zhang, Department for International Development Advisor of British Embassy Beijing, and all the team members of the project participated and shared ideas in the workshop.
