On the morning of January 2, 2013, Professor Linxiu Zhang was invited by China Radio International (CRI) to Today on Beyond Beijing, a debate program broadcast live worldwide. Along with two other panellists, Prof Zhang commented on some of the key policies from the 2013 Central Rural Workforce, including boosting farmers' income, protecting their land rights, increasing agricultural subsidies, increasing support to new types of agricultural businesses and encouraging more enterprises to invest.
