The 2025 Strategic Seminar of the First-Level Discipline of Agricultural and Forestry Economic Management of Peking University was Successfully Held

On the afternoon of February 19, 2025, the Strategic Seminar on the First-Level Discipline of Agricultural and Forestry Economic Management of Peking University was successfully held. Twelve faculty members and related personnel participated in the seminar. Jointly chaired by Professor Huang Jikun, Dean of the School of Advanced Agricultural Sciences, and Professor Wang Jinxia, Director of the China Center for Agricultural Policy, Peking University, the meeting focused on the 2025 strategic development plan for the discipline of Agricultural and Forestry Economic Management.
Participants engaged in in-depth discussions regarding research directions, innovation paths, and educational approaches for the discipline.
In 2025, the discipline of Agricultural and Forestry Economic Management of Peking University will align closely with national priorities for agricultural and rural development, leveraging its unique research strengths to create a distinctive identity in agricultural economics at PKU. It will pursue innovative approaches and interdisciplinary integration, enhance domestic and international collaboration, and actively promote the export of agriculture-related cultural insights. Furthermore, the discipline will implement cross-disciplinary curriculum designs, optimize course structures, and encourage students to organize academic exchange activities.
